Charlotte Tilbury : Golden Goddess, Review and Swatches

Golden Goddess is adding to the Charlotte Tilbury makeup takeover which is currently taking over my go to products!

The eyeshadow palettes are designed to hold the answer to incredibly easy yet beautiful makeup, providing all the colours you need from the primer shade to the final pop.  This is exactly what they do, you really don't need any other colours to achieve a perfect eye, you can even mix them up to create a multitude of different looks.

Golden Goddess, is what is says on the compact, four glowing golden shades to complement any eye.

From top left (left to right in the above swatches) you have a 'primer' shadow, a shimmery pearlescent colour which holds a slight golden fleck.  This is perfect for not only providing a base for your eyes but also for highlighting under your brow bone and accentuating the inner corners.

A charcoal brown next greets you, the 'enhancer', which is one of my favourite shades.  It provides a fabulous light golden shimmer with that hint of darkness, perfect for use as a single shadow or for building up a brown smokey eye.

The 'smoke' shade is my favourite in this palette, you are met with beautiful welcoming golden, goddess tones which holds a slight shimmer.  The pigmentation on this colour is strong and warming, perfect for using in the crease of your eyelid and building up the smokey effect towards the outer area of your eye.

No golden goddess palette is complete without the golden glitter shade.  The 'pop' shade is a true golden sparkler which really does add that pop to your finished eye.  You could use this towards the inner corner of your eye, or on the outer edge where you have smoked to add that ultra definition.

As you can see from the swatches, these tones would complement all skin tones.  Each shade holds strong pigmentation and last an especially long time, you could easily wear them for a full day of work and at the end of the day, as long as you aren't an eye rubber, the shadows would be in the same place as when you applied them.

Compared to some other palettes, the Charlotte Tilbury collection has minimal fallout when applying and each colour blends beautifully in to one another.  The formula is exceptional, there's no settling in to any lines or creases either, the shadows are light and airy, not showing up in any pesky unwanted areas.

Golden Goddess is available from the Charlotte Tilbury website for £38.00.

If you've got any favourites from the Charlotte Tilbury range I'd love to hear what they are below!
